New York native Chris Casino has clearly made a name for himself. At the start of 2016, the prior rap artist turned independent pop-artist, came crashing on the scene with his hit single, “Hot Chick.” New York native Chris Casino has clearly made a name for himself. At the start of 2016, the prior rap artist turned independent pop-artist, came crashing on the scene with his hit single, “Hot Chick.” During this time Casino caught the eye of 103.5 KTU’s I Heart radio personality Sean “Hollywood” Hamilton, who later became Casino’s mentor. With the guidance and support of Hamilton’s expertise the pop-artist continued to raise the bar, making a name for himself. Chris Casino has commonly been compared to the likes of Flo-rida…but amplified! It was in South Padre Island, Spring Break 2016, where the pop sensation performed, his single, “Hot Chick”, for an audience that exceeded 20,000. Later, in 2016, he had a sold-out crowd at the infamous, New York City’s Webster Hall, where he performed, “Hypnotic Shots”.
Casino kicked off 2017 with “All Around the World” produced by DJ Feenix, featuring, written and performed by none other than Casino himself. It was the 2017 South Padre Spring Break that Chris Casino made an even greater presence, performing his newly released hit and bringing in crowds topping well over 50,000! The momentum continued as he booked venues at South Padre’s, Louie’s Backyard and Clayton’s Beach. Following his undeniable Spring Break success, he attended the WMC Winter Music Conference in Miami. It was here that he attended the Remix Top 30 Awards. Interviewing Casino became all the buzz as he followed a Radio “All Around the World” Promo Tour. He interviewed with Beats and Boos podcast and SIRUS XM’s, Geronimo and Music Choice. He had yet another sold out performance in Atlantic City, at Harrah’s Hotel and Casino, where he performed All Around the World. It wasn’t long after that All Around the World became a Billboard Dance chart single. His hit, which picked up significant action across North America, peaked at number 14 on the Billboard Dance Charts.
Summer 2017 had an even greater impact! Chris Casino released Charlie Puth’s Attention Remix entitled, “New Bag”. This single quickly gained the attention of several radio personalities, including, then 92.3 AMP Radio’s DJ Toro. The single’s notoriety became a frequent radio request by the listeners. Chris Casino performed New Bag at many venues, including New York City’s Le Souk, Beautique and the Marque.
Chris Casino can’t stop and won’t stop as 2018 quickly approaches, the pop phenom anticipates an even more elaborate year as his highly anticipated single, Gotta Believe It, will make its debut.
