Jam Master J’son is in “D.J. Mode”

When Jason Mizell Jr. enrolled in college 10 years ago he wasn’t intent on being a D.J. He wasn’t always sure he wanted to follow in the legendary footsteps of his father, hip-hop icon Jam Master Jay.

Mizell admits music was always a part of his life, but he never believed he would be where he is today. “I had no interest in music growing up really, I was always in band, orchestra, but I didn’t really know it was a possibility,” Mizell said.

LORD VITAL NEW YORK RAPPER HIP HOP MUSIC E2W MAGAZINE
Born September 17th, Lord Vital aka “DA BEAST” has been surrounded by music for as early as he could remember. Both of his parents played various instruments, which diversified the music that a young Lord Vital listened to and later used for inspiration. Lord Vital began rapping in the early 1990’s and later began working with a producer named Dave who saw something special in his rapping skills that would inevitably allow him to stand out as an artist. Dave eventually brought Lord Vital to “HillTop Studios” where Lord Vital’s evolution from rapper into an artist officially began. At HillTop Studios, Vital learned about making music that stretched pass the ears of his peers and began to write for up and coming vocalists. Vital’s melodic skill and intricate song making techniques were later recorded by artists such as “T.C.F.” of Cold Chillin’ Records, Bradd Marquis, Songlist, Leeia Music, Logan of MY FAM and several other artists. Lord Vital has manifested the characteristics of his name by becoming an irreplaceable component to all those he encounters musically.
